题记：     美国小伙马克思爱上了比他大很多的一个女孩，苦追多时没有结果。女孩虽然深受感动，但是感到年龄是一个障碍。尽管她很想对他说：‘YES，YOU GET MY HEART！’但是又说不出口。（请注意，即使在今天，美国人也不都是一小时恋爱，三小时生子，五小时离婚的那一种。）在剪不断理还乱的矛盾心境中，她去到非洲度假。马克思感到万分空虚，在极度的想念中，他写成了这首歌。歌成意未止，他不顾非洲正是深夜十分，拨通了女孩的电话。在电话中他把这首歌唱给了她。女孩本来就不是很坚决，心情很矛盾。在多日的分别以后，也很思念他。这深夜的只有一个听众的新歌发布会，就像一枚‘战斧’导弹打在一堵沙墙上，使她最后的矜持轰然倒塌。就像童话里说的那样，‘从此以后，他们幸福地生活在一起。’      ---------  我爱嘉蕙（ 中文歌词也是我爱嘉蕙试译）
